Post 2: Why did i chose this career?
Hi again!
As you know, i´m studying public administration, we are all studying the same career, actually. Whatever, i´m going to be talking about my own experience with the career and things like that.
First of all, i have to say that it is not easy for me to write about this, because when i was a child i wanted to be a makeup artist, that was my biggest dream, but this is not a world where people value artists, so when i grew up i decided that makeup was not an option.
My decision story started when i was like 16. I was thinking all the time about money, because people is always telling you that you have to study something to work on something and get a lot of money to subsist, so i convinced myself that i had to study to be an engineere. then, i discovered that i was never good at math, so it was impossible to me to be an engineere. After that, i started thinking of what i was good and i finally noticed that i had more habilities to history, philosophy and leadership. At the end, i chose public administration because i understood that something perfect to me was something related with people, helping people, etc. Basically, an humanistic career.
Now, that i´m studying this i would say that i like the career, that i learned a lot of interesting things, i´m actually satisfied, but i´m not sure about what i want to do when i finish it. I´m still trying to fit in, so maybe i will ask myself what is my kind of job in the future. Right now, i want to focus on learn more, get good grades, still doing my hobbies and be happier.
Hope you like it and be safe.
